Abbotswood Academy has been born from the want and passion for us to re-think early years training, from a team of active nursery professionals at Abbotswood Forest School and Day Nursery.

Our nursery is now a team of 60 staff who have a purpose, who sing about the nursery and their experiences to friends and family, and who add considerably to our parent and of course, child experience. We are outdoors 90% of the day, we work from our own home grown curriculum and follow an ethos of ‘Hygge in early years’. See our website for our nursery virtual tour.

We have developed our leadership team to enable the main players to support other nurseries via the Academy.

We are all passionate about Early Years and understand the privileged position we are all in being a key part of a child’s first 5 years and want to share our knowledge, passion, and experience with others in the Early Years community.
